Easytouch Fjord Blue

Carmunnock

Designed by

Stephanie

Set within a house in Carmunnock, this project followed the removal of the wall between the existing kitchen and dining room, opening the space through to the conservatory beyond. The new layout created a more connected and open environment, and the brief was to introduce a kitchen that would feel confident enough to suit it.

Easytouch Fjord Blue cabinetry brings a bold, contemporary presence, balanced by concrete-effect elements that ground the scheme and prevent it from feeling overly vibrant. The contrast between the two materials gives the space definition, while the new open-plan layout allows light to move more freely through the room.

The result is a kitchen that feels bright and cohesive, with a stronger connection between cooking, dining and the adjoining living space.

“We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen supplied and expertly fitted by the Studio One team.

From the initial design process to the final finishing touches, nothing was too much trouble for them.

The kitchen units are of exceptionally high quality and the workmanship of all the fitters, especially Gary, is second to none.

Stephanie kept in touch all during the process so we knew exactly what was happening and when.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone planning a new kitchen!”
